 began life as 'The Courts' Fitness Studio, which opened its doors in Old Sarum, just outside Salisbury in 2003. Based in two Squash courts (hence the name... ok ok, it wasn't the most imaginative of names but you try thinking of a good one!) this popular little gym had a fun and friendly atmosphere and a reputation for great results and a cheeky, easy-going manner.
We've evolved from this fantastic start all those years ago (and improved on the name?) and aim to expand and grow around these 4 simple goals - fitness and fun, fair prices and freedom from forced contracts (and anything else beginning with 'F'). Goal number 5 is to buy a huge luxury villa on a sun-soaked island, but that's another story!
New to gyms? No problem. The club is designed to make 1st-timers feel at home with individual changing and shower cubicles, (no intimidating changing rooms) a ladies only fast-tone vibration plate room and special FREE '1st-time' sessions on Saturday mornings at 9am (between 9am and 10am the club is only open to new customers. Regular users won't be there until 10am).
Mirror mirror... We also believe most people aren't too keen on watching themselves training, so we have no mirrors in the main gym area. See... we do listen. It's all designed to make everyone feel at ease... marvellous!
And relax... there's no pressure or guilt trips with us. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way of your best plans. So whether you want to go to the gym once a day, once a month or even just once in a blue moon we'd love to see you.
